The Leftover Yarn Shawl is a fun shawl to knit – here are the instructions:

You will need:  Lots of small amounts of different yarns – use a variety of colours and textures.  A good approach is to group together a number of yarns in a colour family (for example browns, purples or blues) in a variety of textures.  You can use different weights as you will combine some to make up an average gauge.

Suggested yarn : any DK weight – I used JaggerSpun Zephyr Wool-Silk 4/8

Yarn weight: DK (11 wpi)

Gauge: 22 stitches and 28 rows = 10 cm in 2×2 rib, slightly stretched
Needle size: US 6 – 4.0 mm
Yardage: 1540 – 1880 yards (1408 – 1719 m)
Sizes available: 32 – 44 inches
